Domestic abuse, in addition to being a distressing and traumatic experience, brings so many issues and questions. You may be feeling angry, ashamed, unheard, confused or a combination of these. In addition, as a man, it is harder to ask for help because we are conditioned to be the strong ones, to hide our feelings and ‘stand on our own two feet’. I offer an opportunity for you to speak openly about your experience and your feelings in a safe, supportive environment where you will be truly heard. Having been in therapy myself, I have first hand knowledge of how transformative it can be to be treated with empathy, understanding and respect. I am a trained psychotherapist, a member of the National Counselling Society and I have a wealth of life experience in the fields of music and education.
